Hoya Australis Plant, commonly known as a waxvine, is a vine species found on rainforest margins and rocky areas, and occurs in eastern and northern Australia, from Western Australia, through the Northern Territory and coastal Queensland from Cape York to northern New South Wales. It is a popular garden plant, noted for its fragrant flowers.
Care and Maintenence:
-Requires bright indirect sunlight.
-A moist, well-drained, light potting soil.
-Keep the soil moist in spring and summer, dry but not to the point of shrivelled foliage in winter. In dry climates, more frequent watering and misting may be necessary.
-Fertilize using a liquid balanced food, about every four weeks, three or four times during the growing season in spring. Withhold food during the winter.
